Maximum Effort has won the ESEA Invite Season 11 finals and $10,000 with four straight map wins in two best-of-three series over UMX after coming from the lower bracket (16-9 de_nuke, 16-5 de_train, 16-13 de_forge, 19-15 de_inferno).
First map was de_nuke where Paul "pauLy" Guerboyan scored three USP frags to win the opening pistol round. Maximum Effort went down 0-3, but rebounded by scoring seven of the next nine rounds. However, Christian "sobo" Soboleske's strong play at the end of the half closed the gap to just one round, 8-7.
Second pistol round went to 100% who instantly started pulling away from UMX as they went on a five round winning streak to make the score 13-7 in their favor. Nazar "steno" Vynnytsky's troops fought back by winning the next two rounds, but 100% secured the win with the following three rounds for a a 16-9 score on de_nuke.

Even a map change couldn't slow down Maximum Effort's flow, as strong play across the board as counter-terrorists on de_train helped them gain an early lead. UMX managed to win two rounds, but 100% went up 12-2 before Guerboyan's smart play in a two-on-three situation gave them one more round in the first half.
UMX won the second half pistol round with Jordan "n0thing" Gilbert saving his USP armor, but Sean "sgares" Gares' three AK frags in the third round made the score 13-5. Soboleske's crew attempted a force buy in the fourth round without success, and were forced to save after which gave 100% game point for the first series at 15-5. Gilbert & company wasted no time, winning de_train 16-5 and the first series 2-0.

After a break the second series commenced on de_forge where Maximum Effort scored the first three rounds, already improving on their showing from the previous night. 100% went up 7-4 before Christian "sobo" Soboleske's UMX, helped by his 20 frag effort, scored the remaining four rounds for a 7-8 half.
Second pistol round went to UMX as leader Nazar "steno" Vynnytsky and Paul "pauLy" Guerboyan combined for five USP kills. 100% won round four, but UMX broke their money in the following round to go up 5-1, 13-8 overall. Maximum Effort mounted a comeback, scoring eight rounds in a row to win 16-13 with Jordan "n0thing" Gilbert leading the way with 14 frags.

UMX won another pistol as terrorists on de_inferno, as well as 100%'s two consecutive save rounds. Then it was Maximum Effort's turn to show strong play, winning seven of the next eight rounds to make it 7-4. UMX's B fake won them round twelve, but 100% won two of the three remaining rounds for a 9-6 lead.
Maximum Effort won their terrorist pistol round and went up 3-0 after two anti eco rounds. They attacked the A bomb site in the fourth round, winning easily while Soboleske fell behind the moto box, forcing UMX to save once again. At a 14-6 deficit, UMX mounted a comeback, bringing it back to 14-12 before 100% hit tournament point. That wasn't enough though, as UMX tied the game and forced an overtime.
Jordan "n0thing" Gilbert's team switched to a higher gear once the overtime commenced as they were finally able to defend sites after getting the bomb planted. They secured three rounds as terrorists without much trouble, and then secured the 19-15 win as counter-terrorists as Kory "semphis" Friesen took the last frag to secure their ESEA championship and $10,000 first place prize.
